In The 2nd Class (JAN-28-2025). we again analyzed the report (Fatal Police Shootings data ) and raised questions about it. We also discussed the incident taking place at counties level.

Questions:
1. It is observed that States like California, Texas, and New York which are high in Population size and Economic disparities encountered higher Crime rates this might be due to population size, urban crime, gang activity, gun policies, and policing issues.

2. It is also seen the States with fewer Counties encountered more Shootings, this might be due to Political and Social Factors. States like California & New York have bail reform and early release programs, which some argue lead to more repeat offenders.

In the first class of “MTH 522-01: Advanced Mathematical Stats” Gary gave us the 2 excel
“Washington-Post-police-shootings” & “fatal-police-shootings-data-Latitude_longitude”.
We have to analyze the data across the cities in the United States of America. Under the column Latitude & Longitude we can search the place in Google map where the actual shooting takes place.

We were asked which gender male or female is involved most in crime. What specific age group is involved in crime? How far is the Police station near to the crime location? What happened to the victim & the criminal after the incident?
The arms used by the criminals? Was there any mental illness the criminal is suffering from?
We put up questions and analysed the Stats provided to us.
